Who We Are
About Us
In many parts of Africa, slums and low-income communities are often seen as breeding grounds for crime, poverty, and lost potential. This is a narrative we seek to rewrite at Thrive Camps Africa.
We are a teens-focused nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of teenagers and children living in low-income communities, starting in Nigeria. Founded in December 2022, we exist to raise teenagers for God, restore hope, and unlock the future potential of Africa’s underserved youth.
By 2035, our mission is to reach 10,000 teenagers with the gospel of Christ and empower them with the tools, education, and mindset they need to navigate life, rise above their circumstances, and create meaningful change in their communities.
Through our mentorship programs and vocational training, we’re not just fighting poverty—we’re raising teenagers who can take the world by storm!
Our Activities
What We Do
Mentorship Sessions
Our weekly mentorship programs help teens reframe their reality and dream bigger. We focus on areas like faith, personal development, sex education, financial literacy, and mental health—tailored by age group.
Education Support
We provide school materials, textbooks, examination fees, and extra lessons—making education more accessible for teens living in slums.
Vocational Skills Training
From vocational skills like baking to digital skills such as computer basics, teens get hands-on training in a skill of their choice, taught by industry professionals. It’s practical, empowering, and life-changing.
Discipleship Classes
Our discipleship classes are tailored towards helping today’s young adults navigate their understanding of God, the Christian faith and building solid Christ-like values in a lost world.
